Sew Colorful Fusible Applique and Color Theory Class

February 15 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Saturday, February 15th

10:00am -3:00pm

$30 plus Kit (does not include backing, binding, or batting). Kit is packaged from Michael Miller Fabrics

Are you afraid of picking colors?   This class will cover the 10 steps to choosing colors for your quilts.  In addition we will be making a fusible laser cut applique quilt  (22″ x 42″) that will double as a color wheel wall hanging for your sewing room.  It makes a beautiful large flower and also has the information on color theory so you always have a quick reference handy for picking colors for future projects.  This class is suitable for a beginner quilter whom may have never appliqued before or an experienced quilter who just wants more information on color and wants to make this project.  This project may not be completed entirely in class.

(Kit also includes a pattern for a Color Wheel Quilt 51″ x 68″ –which gives you another whole project too!)

You are responsible for bringing your own machine and basic sewing supplies–in addition you will need 3/4 yard backing fabric, and 1/3 yard binding fabric, and batting.

Register now as class size is limited.

Lunch is on your own–you are welcome to bring a sack lunch or to leave as needed.  You will be working at your own pace.
